Librarium

Made in Maya | Columbia College Chicago

The Librarium is a fantastical, ocean-themed library environment designed and modeled in Maya for my Modeling class at Columbia College Chicago. Inspired by the tranquility and wonder of the sea, this immersive space features towering pillars made of glass aquarium tanks filled with vibrant marine life, including fish, starfish, seaweed, coral, and rocks.

The interior design blends functionality with whimsy: desks rest on tentacle-shaped legs, ambient shell lights line the walls, and glowing jellyfish lanterns float overhead. Massive stained-glass windows filter light into colorful hues, creating a serene, otherworldly atmosphere that invites exploration and imagination.
